ShredMetrics President to Teach Best Practices for Price Increases at Industry Seminar

Posted on

Steven Innerfield, CSDS, ShredMetrics Founder and Chief Technology Officer, has been asked to return as a trainer to the data destruction industry workshop, Shred School, for 2022.

Earlier this year, Steven joined former International Secure Information Governance & Management Association (i-SIGMA) founder and CEO Bob Johnson, CSDS, at the i-SIGMA Conference in Las Vegas, NV to speak on the topic during Johnson’s presentation,  “How to Make Sure Your Upcoming Price Increase Succeeds.” The session was a resounding success, and Innerfield was asked to share his insights further in the Summer issue of the association’s iG Journal. Considering the importance of the topic within the industry, i-SIGMA wants to ensure as many as possible are trained on how to better handle price increases, fuel surcharges, and the like. With this in mind, Innerfield has been asked back to the association’s annual fall event, Shred School to teach the session, “How to Handle Fuel Surcharges & Price Increases to Maximize Effectiveness.” In this very practical discussion, Innerfield will discuss the realities of price increases, fuel (and other) surcharges, and how to not fall victim to inflation. Starting with concepts about how to set prices in the first place, he will then walk attendees through keeping those prices current and in line with ever-fluctuating expenses. He will also address customer communications, setting pricing expectations, and how to benchmark fuel surcharges so they are more palatable to clients.

Shred School 2022 will be held twice this fall. Live, October 12-13 in Dallas, TX, and virtually October 26-28.
