Inaugural Industry Award for Operational Efficiency Goes to ShredMetrics for Mobile App Enhancements at this i-SIGMA Year’s Annual Conference
ShredMetrics, LLC is proud to announce that upgrades to the Q-Shred Mobile App won the 2023 Operations Impact Award for the 2023 i-SIGMA Impact Awards. The International Secure Information Governance and Management Association (i-SIGMA) created the Impact Awards to better acknowledge innovations offered within the information governance industry.
While this is the inaugural year for the Impact Awards, Kelly Martinez, Director of Marketing & Communications for i-SIGMA, shared that the association received multiple submissions in each category. “We were thrilled with the amount of healthy competition in each category,” Martinez told us. “In the end though,” she continued, “once the scores of the independent judges were tabulated, the winners were clear.”
ShredMetrics entered and won in the Operations category for enhancements to the Q-Shred Mobile App, calling it a “High Impact Innovation.” By definition, Operations is about the managing of a business so it runs as efficiently and profitably as possible. Understanding that within the information governance industry, managing remote field operations has numerous known challenges, ShredMetrics strove to address many of these with enhancements to the Q-Shred Mobile App. Company President Steven Innerfield, CSDS shared that some of the traditional issues seen by Shredding Providers that the mobile app now resolves include:
