ShredMetrics is a proud Corporate Partner of the watchdog trade association for secure document destruction, the International Secure Information Governance & Management Association (i-SIGMA). ShredMetrics owners, Steven Innerfield, CSDS and Tobi Innerfield, CSDS each have a long history of volunteer services both within and outside of the industry. Each has spoken at a plethora of i-SIGMA (and NAID before it) events as well as served as members of numerous committees, and Steven even chaired a committee. Most recently from their tenure of volunteering, Steven was serving on the Government Relations Committee and Tobi on the Annual Conference Committee. They both felt that their contributions were making a marked difference.
i-SIGMA recently consolidated the organization’s committees to half as many, including the elimination of these specific committees in their current formation, and limited the number of participants to one per company per committee. The association called upon the Innerfields once again during the formation of its newly organized and streamlined committees to help focus the association’s work. Steven is now lending his insights to the newly updated Membership Committee. For now, Tobi has declined to participate on a committee as she is actively pursuing new initiatives outside of i-SIGMA, but she is still committed to the success of its members.
